Great to see some new posts!! I'm going to try to put in links to a couple of Picasa albums, so you can see some pics of Mexico and Hawaii. Still not working, but working on it. I've decided to do the private practice thing, but am waiting til Fall. It was so great to see Megan. Sorry to miss the Birthday Party... what a crazy month of traveling. We went to Las Vegas to see my nephew (he's a hunk, too) in his film debut at CineVegas (the movie is "Choose Connor", a political drama along the lines of the Mark Foley scandal, so it won't ever play anywhere except the Grand Cinema or some small art house). Also saw the grandkids, Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, Zion, and lots and lots of Nevada. Then I had to turn right around and go back to Bend for a wedding/commitment ceremony for a friend's daughter. Also I am walking in the Virginia Mason 1/2 Marathon July 8th, so spending lots of time walking...doing some long ones and more short ones, some with Susanne and Christopher, which is really fun.
So I'm going to try to embed a couple of Picasa albums...hope this works.
Well, if it doesn't work, I'll put them in next time. Hope all goes well with work, summer, etc. See you at the next South Sound lunch. xoxo

Sorry to everyone I missed!
I just wanted to send another update. I really want to apologize for not making it to Jaime's b-day bash. I really wish I could've made it-we were celebrating Matt's sister's graduation then. We had a very busy trip and I'm bummed that I didn't get to see a lot of you. I am very thankful that I had the chance to catch up with my Greater Lakes ladies. I was so excited to meet Mr. Christopher-how handsome is he??? Suse-I'm so so proud of you-I really think you are such an amazing mother and I felt lucky to have the opportunity to sit in and be a part of that. Thank you for your hospitality. Katherine-you know it's always a pleasue. I'm so glad you were back in town for the brief period of time that you were. It means so much to me to spend time with you and it just seems like you are doing so well!! (Thank you for helping me to get out from behind the gate!!!!) Kellee-I appreciate you taking the time to meet us out on the town. I would love to keep hearing updates about life for you all....thank you Janett for the post!!
I miss all of you so much. You are all welcome to come visit ( I know that's a stretch!) and I hope to see you all again soon....
Love,
Megan

Updates
I've read/heard some complaints about the accessibility of the PLU MFT Blog.
I've finally updated it. Sorry it has taken me so long!! It has take some time and some external motivation for it to move up to the top of my priority list...
Remember that anyone and everyone is welcome and encouraged to make any sort of layout, template or setting changes. Just let everyone know when and if you do.
I've updated it so that posting and setting changes should be easier, HOPEFULLY!! It is "one touch" posting, rather than Html, although you can still use Html if you'd like.
FYI, the blue square next to the spell check is how you insert pictures.
If you would like to create a link with in your post, just high light the word(s) you want linked and click the green ball looking thing next to the T with the color box. Then inserted the desired web address into the space provided. That should create a link for you.
If you're still having trouble logging on, you can log on with the admin user name (which I e-mailed to everyone) and post using that. OR you can log in using the admin and resend yourself an invitation. Of course, you are welcomed to e-mail me or call me and I can walk you through it, if you'd prefer to do it that way.
I resent invitations to those of you who might have missed it the first go around.
Again, I don't plan on making many changes on this blog, since I have my own personal blog to update.....I made this for our class, so feel free to do what you'd like with it!!!
Laters,
Susanne

Summer is almost here!
I am looking forward to seeing Megan and Matt on Saturday night (ie if they are still going to Jaime not Jamie's birthday celebration)! What's new with me, you ask? Well, the highlight of my last couple weeks is meeting the one and only, Christopher! Can you say super adorable?! Other than that, just counting down the weeks until the school year is up...Only 8 more days to go! Though I work with the Issaquah school district during the year, the paycheck doesn't cover the expanse of time between June and September, grrrr.. What I wouldn't give to work directly for the district instead of being contracted! So I am taking more office clients in Issaquah and Duvall. Which will probably go about as well as it did trying to get clients to come in when we started summer practica at PLU, inconsistent at best : ).
I'm settling in to my new place in Redmond, though I still am not all the way unpacked. The boxes taunt me but each day I find a new excuse. I mean, isn't it easier in the long run if I just leave most stuff packed? Eventually I will be moving, I'm sure. : ) My new roommate is pretty cool, Eric. Though definitely not as cool as my previous two. He works a lot and I have my own bathroom and garage space so I'm happy. Ooh! I almost forgot the best part! He has a maid! Yeah, I might get spoiled or later justify it as a necessity!
Mike and I are doing well. He is in the daunting process of applying to med school. He has picked his schools, UW is one of them and his top pick. It makes for some stress as he is spending most waking hours studying for the MCAT but that will be over in August. I must admit, it's nice not to be the student.
I was at PLU last Friday. I was on the panel of alumi in the ethics class, remember that? Listening to them talk about the real world and crappy pay? It was a little trippy but I finally met Lana, who was also on the panel! And Charlie, being Charlie, called her Linae : ) I didn't recognize any of the students in the class; does that mean I am old? Cheryl has retired and I hear her par-tay is going to be in September. Not much else, but it was nice to see not much has changed there.
Enjoy the sunshine!

I'm headed to Seattle!! Part 2
Hello everyone!!
So I meant to leave myself enough time to call everyone to make plans and of course I have been crazy busy trying to get everything in place before leaving. We get into town tomorrow afternoon and pretty much have tomorrow night wide open (we'll be staying in Tacoma at Matt's friend's house.) Thursday we are spending time with Matt's dad in the evening. We're hoping that everyone will be able to go out on Friday night Matt already planned with a bunch of his friends for that evening and we're unavailable Saturday because that's when his sister is graduating. Hope that made sense-basically set aside Friday night if you'd like to go out otherwise let's try and do lunch on Thursday or Fri if you can. I hope that all made sense-sorry to give you the whole itinerary but of course there are a lot of people to visit and I want to see everyone!! Write back and let me know if 'll be able to see you....I know you are all extremely busy as well. I miss you all and can't wait to be back in the Northwest soon!!! (Suse-I can't wait to meet Christopher so let me know when you're available!)
